The road to nirvana |

My journey into Photography, Horology, and Audiophilia |
I took these shots hand held using my Tamron SP AF 90mm f/2.8 Di LD 1:1 Macro and I realized how difficult it was shooting these. The Tamron was set to f/2.8 and is manual focus on my D40. When the wind blows, it causes my subject to sway or move, or even worse, fly away!
Focusing is a real challenge due to lack of AF, and with the lense minimum distance of less than 1m, it didn't help me with the insects as they tend to fly away when I close in.

So I learned my lesson. The next time around I used my Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 1:2 macro.
