The resurgent University of the Philippines Lady Maroons exhibited excellent floor defense to give
the De La Salle University Lady Archers a tough fight. The Lady Maroons took the first set away from the
the lady Archers. In the end, the DLSU squad won the battle, but the Lady Maroons won the heart of the fans.
