Holy Saturday Ride: Tagaytay

March 31, 2018

My legs are still tired from yesterday's ride but who can resist the urge of eating Bulalo in Tagaytay!

For today's ride I am bringing the C59 out and because I thought it will rain I was in rain gear, and I forgot my water bottles. The weather is nice at around 19 °C when we met at Vista Mall.

Our next stop where we loaded with Pocari Sweat and fresh banana.

The customary stop at Aling Pina's Bikestop. At this point, my butt really hurts and that makes the ride difficult. I have to look at the saddle position at our next stop.

We finally reached Tagaytay and headed to View Site, the one near corner Bonifacio Drive. They have an outdoor setting where we are able to rest our bikes and have our meals too.

We ordered the usual stuff when one is in Tagaytay, and that is Bulalo with fried Tawilis.

Bone marrow topppings, anyone? Yeah, I had it all for me as Carlo passed on it.

I learned about the secret of good Bulalo when I spooned this out of the serving bowl. We didn't complain during the meal but I called their attention about this insect in our food before we left.

Carlo found a short-cut to Aguinaldo Highway and it was a roller coaster ride. I didn't want to take Amadeo because that route is frustrating once we hit the mall en route to Governor's drive.

We're back at Mario Mio for coffee and dessert before the final trek back to Carmona.

This Tiramisu is really good, I like it so much!

The iGS618 still has a lot of juice (perhaps around 50%) after 160km and 8 hours 33 minutes of riding, only time will tell how much reserve power it really has.

Until next time!
