This time it was planned that we're going to ride to Antipolo, make a turn and head to Rustic Mornings in Marikina for breakfast. No surprises.
I was excited to ride the Blockhaus 67 on its new Ultegra Di2 and worried at the same time if I can climb with a 34-32T "granny" gear, as previously I enjoyed the 28-42T installed on the Giant Toughroad. In the end, I did it and had better time compared to my first climb.
After being introduced to the Colnago Manila dudes, we rode back, stopped over at Bike Parts Ph so I can buy a valve extender, and finally to Marikina to have breakfast. The place is packed, and we had to endure the "waiting list." When we finally got seated, I found Callos in the menu and I just had to have one, together with a cup of "tablea" chocolate.
The callos is good, but I still prefer that of Relish in Valero, Makati. The hot chocolate is pretty good, but sweeter than that of Pamana Restaurant in Tagaytay. All in all, it was a good breakfast. Because I don't have money left, Eric picked up my tab.
I found time to take a snapshot of my Blockhaus 67.
After breakfast, we headed back to the meeting point to have a rest and have a change. Elbert discovered shit on his finger, too.
