Finally, Nuvali Trails!
First, credit where credit is due. I asked Epoy if he can ask their riding buddy to share with me the route to the trails around Nuvali. I got the Suunto links which I converted to Garmin Connect Courses. I derived two identical courses, one with the Marcos Mansion Trail which I was able to ride once before. I loaded them into my Garmin Edge 25 and today, we got to ride the trails.
Project X takes the ride this time
From the rotunda we entered into the "Nuvali Trail 2" which is 3.5km long and still has lots of muddied portions. I can just imagine how bad this path is after a heavy rain. On exit from this section, the road I'm asked to take by the Garmin Connect Course has been paved. We were directed by the guard to take another path that turns out to be the "Gravel Track" to the main road. This section is fun, fun, fun.
The last part of the trail is known as the "Montecito Trail" which leads to Miriam College and is nothing but up, up, up to 209m elevation. At the exit, the bike was so tired it decided to rest.
We headed back to Nuvali Boulevard to conquer the Marcos Mansion trail. This section has a grade of about 12.8% and an elevation of 233m. Conquered I was, as I suffered from a brief cramps at past 21km so the bike had to rest once more.
I finally caught up with the boys at Marcos Mansion where we had fresh Buko that I enjoyed a lot.
At the end of the ride, we decided to eat at Blue Corner and enjoyed the Lechon Kawali, Sisig, Pusit, and Fish (forgot what kind).
I didn't have a video this time but this Relive is nice.
