Ride day!
I am excited to take the TCR Advanced Pro Disc to a longer ride and this is the opportunity as we're going back to Monteluce.
As usual, I headed to Vista Mall to wait for my ride buddies.
Carlo and company arrived faster than I can consume the cookie so we had to leave the moment I finished it.
We took the usual route to Paliparan - Governor's Drive - National Road - J.P. Rizal. Unfortunately, when we hit Aguinaldo Highway before even reaching Monteluce, I suffered from cramps. When Carlo came back I had to tell him to join Elbert and company to Tagaytay and I'll go back instead.
When I recovered from cramps, I thought I would be back home soon so I can catch up with the Philippine SuperLiga games when suddenly I felt something wrong. I got a flat rear tire!
I am confident the issue will be fixed soon since I have a spare tube and CO2 canister.
Didn't take long to do the replacement and pump air into the tire, and I had a slight grin as I hear the beads popping into place on the rim.
I rode the bike and headed home...
Then I noticed the rear tire is flat again! I reviewed the steps I took and I'm pretty sure I checked everything, but shit do happen.
At 7.6 km away from home, I started my lonely trek under the blistering sun. What a shitty Saturday this is.
