We hit Timberland once more, and this time the plan was to take Green before going to Pestaño. We didn't know we were asking for trouble as the trails are wet that we had to cut the ride short as it's pretty dangerous already.
Of course, this is again an eventful ride for me as I have had moments again. At a certain section at Green, we were starting to slide and have to dismount. As we navigate on foot, I came to a slippery part and Danny offered to hold my bike (and his) so I can get down. Well, I slipped and thankfully there's a really, really thin tree that I was able to grab which stopped me from hitting Danny and the two bikes. He's actually at the edge of a ravine.
Further down the trail, there's another sloping section and the bike's weight was actually pulling me so I decided to let it go. Yes, let the fuckin' Specialized go.
As we near the exit, I was elated the ordeal was over. But not without me slipping and falling off my butt in the mud. Oh well, at least my friends have something to laugh about.
But wait! As we arrived at Pestaño and started stowing the bikes on the rack, it gave way the moment I placed by beloved Specialized on it. In the process, bring down all the bikes resting on it. Damn Specialized! Ha ha ha.
Unfortunately, there was no photo as everybody was attending to their fallen bike.
But what a blessing! I ordered Bangsilog (Bangus, sinangag, and itlog) but when it was served, the girl said the fish was overcooked (which was just fine with me) and told me it will be replaced. But when she came back, she had another set of Bangus and eggs. So there, I ate two Bangus and nearly four eggs as a result of superb customer service.
In the end, we did Green (part of) - Basic - Pestaño - Roxas route in another fun-filled adventure with the "weekend riders."
