I couldn't believe I will be able to reach this point.

Today, we took off from the parking lot (with the exception of "mamaw" Rolen who biked from home) and the usual route to Wall 3 then Basic. This time we didn't go to Pestaño and we went up to Giant and finally to Mt. Sinai.

Here's the group shot in front of Giant sari-sari store.

On entry to Mt. Sinai, there is a fee of P50 per person for one to conquer this path to reach the 10 Commandments.

When we reached the top we had the usual photo op and then we were served food from this karideria.

I ordered "cornsilog" and it came with unlimited beef soup I truly liked that I consumed four small serving bowls! The hot chocolate is also good, it was authentic and not too sweet. There are no photos of the food, unfortunately as I devoured them in no time.

As the route is generally asphalt and I'm tempted to bring my grocery bike next time. The only concern is will I survive the Basic trail on a bike with no suspension.

Going back was relatively fast as the road is mostly downhill and I am glad that my brakes stood up this time. From Mt. Sinai our only stop was at Basic to surrender the token that served as our pass. From there Rolen and I parted ways upon exiting Basic as I headed to the parking, but before taking this photo at the highest point of Wall 3.

This ride was captured well enough on Strava.
