I can't believe I'm saying "I can't believe" again.
The original plan was just to scale Wall 1, which I have not done yet. My motivation was to test the e*thirteen 42T extended cog I installed on the Jet 9 RDO.
I parked at Aling Tina and waited for Mike and Rolen to arrive while Cesar was having his dose of "nilagang saging" that I also had. We took off and headed to the "wall." What a surprise, it must be a placebo effect from the 42T but I don't care, I did scale Wall 1. I had a total of three stops, where one was due to a three-vehicle stall where one vehicle precariously and dangerously might just lose it so we decided to dismount and let the vehicle slowly roll down to safety. After that we saddled up and road past the "siko" and I had my last stop a few hundred meters away from the gate.
After scaling Wall 1, we stopped for a breather and fluid replenishment. We were asking ourselves "now what" so I said let's try Wall 2 and went for it.
We rested for a while then decided to go for it and headed straight to Sinai and up Ten Commandments after passing Wall 3.
Basic trail is so wet with mud and as usual,me and the bike are covered with mud. This photo was taken just after "Boom" exit.
Upon reaching Ten Commandments, we ordered the usual and there are no more food photos as they're devoured after being served.
My Garmin Edge 25 failed again in connecting to the sensors after being in stand by. I had to save the current ride, turn the device off and on again to reconnect to the sensors.
Here's the Strava upload from the Edge 25 starting at Aling Tina to Ten Commandments.
