All the EcoFlow sourced parts are now complete and operational, only the two rigid 430W solar panels and mounting kit remains to be installed.

It’s great to hear that the EcoFlow app has made some improvements with its automation feature! Even though it’s still basic and limited, it’s a step in the right direction. What I wanted to achieve are as follows:

  1. During daytime, I will prioritize charging the battery to the configured charge limit in the app (90%) which I know is possible during sun peak hours even with my current 160W solar panel. The electrical demand will be coming from the grid (not saving money).
  2. I have set the Base load to 70W and the refrigerator Smart Plug integrated with the PowerStream so that when the battery is done charging, the solar input will be used to fill the demand of the appliances (saving money). The battery will not discharge to the microinverter until "Sunset" automation kicks in.

When the sun sets, the "Sunset" automation will trigger and will perform the following:

  1. Prioritize power supply
  2. Integrate the refrigerator Smart Plug
