The EcoFlow PowerOcean system

Going back to the original goal of exclusively charging the BYD Seagull that turns into whole home solar configuration, am I still able to meet the charging requirements?

Well, yes!

I made simulations where I will charge from stored energy on weekdays and from solar harvest on weekends.

I was able to validate the simuation with actual charging after the installation of the PowerOcean.

 

Final thoughts 

When I started this project, ROI wasn't part of the goal. It was the experience and fun of doing these, from the first generation Powerstream onwards to the STREAM system, and ultimately to the PowerOcean.

This achievement is the ROI, whatever savings resulting from all these is just the icing on the cake.

  • I'm extremely happy with my choice of brand that is EcoFlow. Yes, they're not perfect but local support is superb. One of my Powerstream died and was replaced, my Wave 2 died and was repaired.

  • Being able to combine different generations of products into one ecosystem is fantastic.

  • Enable, the company behind EcoFlow is a great partner which I will always recommend despite the bad rap about the brand in other parts of the world. It's the local distributor that makes the experience a delightful one.

Is this the end of my EcoFlow journey?
